The Hardcore Scene

The hardcore scene today (of the young generation), consists of bands that range from post-hardcore to deathcore. Most of the genres end in -core, so that's what lets you know that these bands are "hardcore scene" bands.
If you disagree with anything that I say about these bands, then it's okay because this is just my opinion on them, and what I can come up with.

I'm not gonna go in any specific order in naming the different bands, so..

I See Stars

I See Stars is a hardcore band that mixes electronic-pop and metalcore. They are definitely part of the hardcore scene today.
Good songs: What This Means To Me, Filth Friends Unite, and Till The World Ends

A Day To Remember

ADTR mixes emo, hardcore, and metal into a blend of awesomeness dubbed "pop mosh." For some reason, a lot of Christian people know them, idk why 'cause they're not Christian, soo...idk.
Good songs: If It Means A Lot To You, All I Want, All Signs Point To Lauderdale, The Downfall Of Us All, It's Complicated, and Since U Been Gone.

Asking Alexandria

A personal favorite of mine, AA is one of the biggest hardcore bands in the world. They're from the UK, but they are known all over the globe. Members are: Danny Worsnop (vocals), Ben Bruce (guitar), Cameron Lidell (guitar), Sam Bentley (bass), and James Cassells (drums).
Good songs: Right Now, Not The American Average, The Death of Me, The Final Episode, To The Stage, Closure, Dear Insanity, A Lesson Never Learned, Breathless, Reckless And Relentless, Morte Et Dabo, Alerion, A Candlelit Dinner With Inamorta, Hey There Mr. Brooks, I Used To Have A Best Friend, and A Prophecy.

Sleeping With Sirens

Post-hardcore band, SWS is also influenced by emo and metal. To be honest, I don't know that much or listen to then very much. I just know a lot of people who like them and see a lot of their stuff on tumblr. So yeah, idk.. I'm not into them.
Good songs: If You Can't Hang, Do It Now Remember It Later

Black Veil Brides

BVB is a band that brought me into the hardcore scene, but I hesitate to wear a band t-shirt out. BVB receives a lot of criticism and prejudice, which I really don't like. I have to admit, their sound has improved so much over the years, and I'm proud to say I was a fan since "We Stitch These Wounds" was their only album. But yeah, their newest album "Wretched and Divine" is so much better.
Good songs: In The End, I Am Bulletproof, Fallen Angels, Wretched And Divine, Shadows Die, Done For You, Nobody's Hero, Lost It All, Saviour, and The Legacy.

Of Mice And Men

Not to be confused with the book, OMAM is another big hardcore band. We're actually reading the book in my English class, and I hate the book. But I definitely don't hate the band.
Good songs: Second and Sebring, My Understandings, Blame It, O.G. Loko, The Flood, and The Depths.

Pierce The Veil

PTV is another band that all my friends are obsessed with, yet I don't really listen to then that much. I only know a lot about them because of my friends. So, yeah, I'm gonna try and see if I get their names right. Left to right: Tony (guitar), Vic (vocals), Jaime (bass), Mike (drums). Did I get it right? I hope...
Good songs: King For A Day, Bulletproof Love, Caraphernelia, A Match Into Water, and Bulls In The Bronx.

Attack Attack

AA is a progressive metalcore group with lots of electronic-pop influences. Auto tune is really popular throughout. I never knew this, but Austin Carlisle (Of Mice And Men) used to be the frontman of this band.
Good songs: Stick Stickly, Smokahontas, Bro, Ashley's Here; Sexual Man Chocolate; AC-130; Renob, Nevada; Shut Your Mouth; Turbo Swag; and Lonely.

Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.)

Though DRUGS is not together anymore, I thought I'd mention them anyway. DRUGS is a post-hardcore band that is quite good, and it sucks that they aren't a band anymore. But, yeah, though they only released one album, all the songs were good, and they were pretty famous just from it.
Good songs: If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is; Graveyard Dancing; The Only Thing You Talk About; and Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups.

We Came As Romans

WCAR is a mix of post-hardcore and metalcore. They're really good, though I haven't listened to them for a long time.
Good songs: My Love, We Are The Reasons, To Plant A Seed, What I Wished I Never Had, Broken Statues, and Roads That Don't End And Views That Never Cease.

Woe, Is Me

WIM is a metalcore band that was surprisingly formed in 2009. They're so popular, it's crazy that they're so new.
Good songs: Fame>Demise, Vengeance, Delinquents, Mannequin Religion, I've Told You Once, and I.

Miss May I

This is one of the best metalcore bands there is, and probably one of the best in the hardcore scene. Their music is good because of the guitars and the screamed and sung vocals. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who likes metalcore.
Good songs: Hey Mister, Relentless Chaos, Masses Of A Dying Breed, and Answers.

Those are no where close to all the of the bands in the hardcore scene, but this is just to give an idea of what type of bands there are today.
